The Practicum is the second half of our two-step process for Network 220 Discipleship Counselor certification. It is also the approved practicum program for Luther Rice students pursuing their Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. The Practicum is offered twice each year, in January and September.

The Practicum takes everything you learned and experienced in Foundations (or your Luther Rice program) to the next level. The Practicum is where learning meets practice...you actually learn and counsel under the care of a trained supervisor. There are no weekly group meetings. This one-on-one training involves taking your practicum partner through the entire counseling process as the counselor. You’ll then experience the journey as a client receiving counseling. All the training is updated from a trauma-informed perspective while still adhering to the exchanged life counseling model. This intensive, 15-week practicum only costs $950 plus a small additional expense to purchase the Taylor Johnson Analysis (around $25 or $30).
